Donna Marie Rogers manages to bring a lot
of heart into this novella. I was swept into the story of struggling single mother, Lauren, and Caleb, a man trying to find his place in the world. I thought Ms. Rogers was spot-on in her portrayal of Lauren's 10 year-old son, Max, and his trouble coming to terms with his father's abandonment. Caleb is a rare breed of man; coming into their lives as if he were meant to be there all along. He falls for them, as well as Lauren's little girl, Emma. By the end, I knew this ready-made family would have their HEA. A Fair of the Heart
is a keeper!
