This book is a great resource to have in your kitchen. From the correct way to make a pot of beans (I never knew soaking was so important!) to how to make your own pantry staples. I'll never buy boxed Rice-a-Roni, Cream of anything soup, or Prepackaged Oatmeal again! I wouldn't say I've been able to reduce my food bill to $75 a week, but the information is invaluable.
